Pump Selection in Breweries

Published 11 February 2010 | By Grundfos DBR

Pumps have been essential items of brewery equipment since they were invented. Growing experience, however, led to further demands: Pumps should be reliable with minimum maintenance. Sanitary aspects are important. The risk of infecting the product must be minimised. Non-Newtonian viscous liquids and liquids containing particles should also be pumped without problems. This white paper outlines all the aspects that need to be considered when selecting pumps for brewery applications.
