SkyPeople Fruit Juice adds new facility to increase pear juice production
SkyPeople Fruit Juice, a processor and manufacturer of concentrated specialty fruit juices, and manufacturer of Hedetang- and Qian Mei Duo-branded fruit beverages, has added a new concentrated pear juice production line in the Company's Jingyang factory in Shaanxi province in China.
The new $7.4m facility, which started operation on 26 December, is capable of processing 20 tonnes of pears per hour.
The ISO9001, HACCP and KOSHER certified quality control system meets the standards of exporting to major fruit juice consuming countries including the US, Canada and the European Union.
SkyPeople Fruit Juice CEO Yongke Xue said the compay believes that the new line production will provide additional capacity to meet the expectation for growth in demand for this juice product and further strengthen its leading position in the concentrated pear juice segment.
