Aistiva unveils new models of water purification device AquaLiv
Aistiva, a subsidiary of US-based life sciences research and development company AquaLiv Technologies, has unveiled Compact Residential Model and Commercial Model of its home water purification and enhancement device - AquaLiv Water System.
AquaLiv Water System boosts alkalinity naturally, decreases water's oxidative strain on the body and increases water's hydration capability, claims the company.
Residential Model, priced at $687.95, is designed for families or small groups of up to six adults and the Commercial Model, available for $1198.95, is for larger groups such as offices, health clubs and clinics.
Aistiva CEO Craig Hoffman said that the new system is easier to install, takes up less space, has the same enhancement capacity as the former system.
"At the new price point, we are competing directly with high-end reverse osmosis purification systems sold in kitchen and bath showrooms, a vastly larger market serviced by thousands of showrooms across the country," he added.
"The AquaLiv System accounted for nearly $415,000 in 2012 calendar year sales. We expect that figure to grow markedly with our new systems and wholesale business model."
The company plans to develop drinking fountains with integrated AquaLiv enhancement technologies and deploy large-format filling stations at grocery stores to allow consumers fill one, three, and five-gallon bottles with AquaLiv Water.
